Abstract
This study used a non-experimental quantitative, descriptive research design. Random sampling technique was used to select the respondents. An adapted and modified questionnaire was used in gathering the data. The following standardized measure were used to answer specific problems and to test the hypothesis of the study: a) frequency distribution, b) percentage distribution, c) mean, d) f-test and e) standard deviation. The study concluded that: 1) Majority of the teachers in selected public elementary schools in Imus, Cavite are 31 to 35 years old, female. education graduates, teaching for 10 years or less and handling Grades 1 and 3 pupils; 2) The teachers in selected public elementary school in Imus, Cavite have awareness to a moderate extent regarding ADHD; 3) The teachers in selected public elementary school in Imus, Cavite have the same level of awareness regarding ADHD when grouped according to age, gender, number of years in the teaching profession and undergraduate course. However, when grouped according to grade level handled, teachers handling Grade 6 pupils have the highest level of awareness regarding ADHD.
