Abstract
Phenomenological research method was used in the study. The researchers conducted interviews with the participants which were recorded in audio tapes after securing their consent. The taped interviews were transcribed then analyzed. The participants answered the question, “Where are your experiences living with chronic skin problem?”. The researchers used Parse Research Methodology for the analysis of the participants’ verbatim. Findings of the study led to the conclusion that chronic skin problems were treated differently and lived a life full of complexities compared to people with normal skin conditions. The burden of having a chronic skin disorder varies from every participant. All of the participants experienced changes in terms of physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects.
