Abstract
The study utilized a descriptive, non-experimental type of research using convenience sampling. The respondents of the study involved 150 individual young professionals working in the said companies. The research instrument used in the data gathering is a questionnaire constructed by the researchers based from the data acquired from the literature review regarding the transmission of human immunodeficiency virus. Data was analyzed through correlation coefficient, frequency, percentage, mean, t-test and f-test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents are female, single, has a monthly income of P18,901 and above and profess Catholic faith; 2) There is a above average level of knowledge regarding the transmission of human immunodeficiency virus; 3) There is no significant difference on the level of knowledge of young professionals working at telemarketing on transmission of human immunodeficiency virus when they are grouped according to gender, civil status, monthly income and religion.
