Abstract
This study utilized a non-experimental, descriptive type of research using purposive sampling technique. The study involved 100 call center agents from Amex i-Support, Convergys, ePerformance and Vision-X Incorporated located in Makati City,. The study involved four call center companies and 25 respondents were obtained from each company. A self-made questionnaire was devised with the aid of the tool validators and researchers’ adviser. Data was analyzed through frequency distribution, mean, t-test and f-test.The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents are 24-28 years old, female, single, earns P10,001.00 to P20,000.00, stayed in the company for more than 1 year, have acquired information on sexually transmitted infections and have already engaged in a risky sexual behavior; 2) The call center agents in Makati City have a high level of knowledge on prevention on sexually transmitted infections; 3) There is no significant difference on the level of knowledge on prevention of sexually transmitted infections among call center agents in Makati City when grouped according to age, gender, civil status, educational attainment, length of employment in the company, information about sexually transmitted infections and engagement in a risky sexually behavior. However, there is a significant difference on the level of knowledge on prevention of sexually transmitted infections among call center agents in Makati City when grouped according to their monthly income.
