Abstract
The study is to identify the level of compliance with the medical management of hypertensive clients in selected barangays of Imus, Cavite. The study utilized a descriptive non-experimental type of research. The researchers used a validated self-made questionnaire. The population of the study is composed of one hundred (100) cases of known and diagnosed hypertensive clients by a physician and should be aware of their medical management. From the given findings, these conclusions are formulated: 1) most of the respondents are ages 61-70 years old, female, high school graduate, employed and has a family monthly income of below 5,000 pesos; 2) the respondents have a high level of compliance with the medical management of hypertension; 3) there is no significant difference in the level of compliance with the medical management of hypertensive respondents in terms of age, gender, education, occupation and monthly family income.
