Abstract
The study utilized the descriptive method research. Respondents of the study were composed of 90 senior high school students in selected secondary schools in Dasmarinas, Cavite chosen through stratified random sampling. A self-made questionnaire was used to gather information about their perception of nursing as a profession. The statistical treatments used were mean, t-test and f-test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents were female, with a family income of P10,000 and below, Catholic, eldest in the family, and no health professional in the family; 2) The respondents had a positive perception or outlook regarding nursing as a profession; 3) Gender, monthly family income, religion, ordinal position, and presence of health professional in the family of the respondents did not affect or influence the senior high school students' perception of nursing as a perception.
