Abstract
The study used an analytical research design, quantitative approach. The sampling technique utilized is cluster random sampling. Data gathering was conducted online and face-to-face with consent from the research adviser. The research tool is a self-made questionnaire that consists of the profile of the respondents and 20 questions pertaining to perception regarding telehealth. To analyze the data, the statistical tests used are mean, frequency distribution, Mann Whitney U test, and Kruskal Wallis test.From the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents were between the ages of 21-35 years old, female with 3-5 years of clinical experience, assigned to the emergency department and general ward, with a nurse- patient ratio of 1:1-5, and no experience in telehealth; 2) Majority of the respondents have a positive perception regarding telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic; 3) Among the four domains, the usefulness of telehealth had the highest mean score while the interaction quality came least. 4) There are no significant differences in the perception of staff nurses regarding telehealth during the pandemic when they are grouped according to age, sex, years of clinical experience, area of assignment, nurse-patient ratio, and experience with telehealth.
