Abstract

The study utilized a descriptive-analytic research design . Using stratified random sampling and purposive sampling, the 283 respondents of the study were selected from the DLSMHSI College of Nursing. The research instrument utilized was a self-made online questionnaire consisting of 3 items for the respondents' demographic data and 24 questions that determined their preferred collaborative learning pattern. The study concluded that, 1) The overall preferred collaborative learning pattern of nursing students in DLSMHSI is a combined learning pattern; 2) Female students preferred the individual and combined learning patterns while male students preferred a group learning pattern; 3) All year levels (Level 1-4) preferred a group learning pattern; 3) All year levels (Level 1-4) preferred a combined learning pattern.
