Abstract

The study utilized a descriptive-analytical research design using purposive sampling design. A total of 86 respondents were chosen in the study. A self-made questionnaire was used Data was analyzed through frequency distribution, standard deviation, weighted mean, Mann-Whitney U Test and Kruskall-Wallis H Test. The findings of the study that there is a low psychosocial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on school-aged children due to the factors related to the situation of the children in Albay. In comparison of all data collated, the sex of the child, grade level of children, educational attainment of the parents, employment status, and marital status showed no relation and no significant difference in all variables with the psychosocial impact of the COVID-19 on school aged children.
