Abstract

A descriptive analytical research design using convenience sampling was used. The researchers employed two tools which were self-crated to assess nursing students' Attention Span and Coping Skills. The Likert Scale was employed in both questionnaires. The statistical tests that were employed to respond to a given event and evaluate the study's hypothesis included: (1) Frequency and Percentage Distribution, (2) mean, (3) Standard Deviation, (4) T-test, and (5) Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents were aged between 21 and 22 years old. Furthermore, most of the respondents were from 3rd and 4th year nursing students. Majority of the nursing students were female; 2) The overall attention span of the selected nursing students of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is high; 3) The overall Coping Skills of the selected nursing students of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is high; 4) There is no significant difference in the Attention Span of the respondents to remote learning when they are grouped by age, sex, and year level; 5) There is no significant difference in Coping Skills of the respondents to remote learning when they are grouped by age, sex, and year level.
