Abstract
This study utilized a descriptive, non-experimental quantitative research design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. A self-made questionnaire composed of 20 questions was utilized for this research study to determine the perception on use of video call on the emotional health of COVID-19 patients during their quarantine. Data was analyzed through frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis H Test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents were from the age group of 20-39, female, single, in the college level, had symptoms of COVID-19, and had undergone house quarantine. All 383 respondents were recovered COVID-19 patients that reside within Cavite who had utilized video call during their quarantine; 2) Majority of the respondents perceive the use of video calling during their quarantine with a highly positive perception; 3)There are no significant differences in the perception on the use of video call on their emotional health during their quarantine when grouped according to educational attainment. However, there is a significant difference when grouped according to age, sex, civil status, health status and area of quarantine.
