Abstract
The stud utilized an analytic research design with a self-made questionnaire. Snowball sampling was utilized. Data were subjected to the following statistical treatment: frequency, mean, standard deviation, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskall-Wallis test. The study concluded that, 1) Most of the nursing students are year level 1, with 3 siblings. Aged 20 years old and above, the eldest among the siblings and the majority are female, 2) There is a high extent of a positive factor on utilizing household chores on the learning engagement of the nursing students, 3) First year nursing students are more likely to experience and agree that doing household chores can positively affect their learning engagement.
