Abstract
The study utilized descriptive research design. Simple random sampling was used. The total number of respondents aimed to gather information from was 471. The researcher made use of self-made questionnaires. Data was analyzed through frequency, mean, percentages, Kruskal Wallis H Test and Mann Whitney U Test. The study concluded that, 1) The common traits of a Filipino family are recognizable among the respondents who are in college; 2) When the influence of online learning environment is low, the respondents can attend to sudden concerns as these concerns may not happen often. Also, the respondents are mostly young adults who can assume the role of caring for the household in the absence of parent; 3) The poor manpower that is mainly due to lack of siblings may render the respondents unable to take care of family and its sick members, spend time with family, and attend to important family matters when the influence of online learning environment is high; 4) The results of the study suggest that online learning environment influences the sociocultural roles and responsibilities of BSN students of DLSMHSI.
