Abstract
This study employed a descriptive non-experimental design. One hundred five (105) medical frontliners working in selected hospitals in Cavite served as the respondents of the study using a purposive sampling technique. An adapted and self-made tool questionnaire was utilized based on the conceptual framework and literature of this study. Data were subjected to the following statistical treatments: percentage distribution, frequency and Chi-square test. The study concluded that, 1) The majority of the respondents were young adults, female, single, 1-5 years of experience and were assigned in Critical Care, Emergency, Perioperative Services, and Delivery Unit, 2) The coping strategy of the medical frontliners towards social stigma that surrounds their profession revealed that they mostly use skills-use coping factor, 3) There are no significant differences in the coping strategies when grouped according to age, sex, marital status, years of experience, and area of assignment.
