Abstract
The researchers utilized an analytical research design. To get the sample size, Slovin's formula was used. On the other hand, to recruit nursing students from all year levels from the College of Nursing of DLSMHSI, convenience sampling was used. From the total respondents of 431, there were 165 nursing students from the first year, 134 from the second year, 111 from the third year, and 21 from the fourth year. The respondents answered the self-made toll in a Likert Scale format through Google from. Data was analyzed through frequency count, mean, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents were from the first year level, female with age ranges from 18-20 years old, Catholic, and with a family monthly income of 46,761.01 to P81, 832.00, 2) The respondents' actions of protecting the biological self is the foremost effect of the COVID-19 pandemic while social support may have impacted the psychological well-being of the respondents the most, 3) The biopsychosocial effects of COVID-19 pandemic experience on the nursing students of DLSMHSI are similar regardless of sex, religion, year level, and family monthly income, except for age. Many of the respondents are in the age range of 18-20 years old that are in their transition period between being teen and adult, which can be described characteristically as needing basic support on experiencing positive self-concept, success in undertaking, increased independence, affection, acceptance and adventure. This shows that the COVID-19 pandemic may effect the young adults' needed experiences in their life's transition period.
