Abstract

This quantitative study utilized the analytical method. Ninety-seven participants answered an online questionnaire via Google forms. A 4-point Likert scale was utilized to gather the respondents of the participants. Purposive sampling was used. The study utilized the following statistical tests to the answer the research problems: frequency distribution, mean, Mann-Whitney U Test and Kruskall Wallis test. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) Based on the demographics, the following are the majority profiles of the respondents: females, Roman Catholic, Senior High School Graduates with a monthly family income ranging from below 10,000 pesos and 43,000-76,000 pesos; 2) Among all the factors, Institutional was the only one found to effect COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy while the rest of the factors were found affect COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy to a moderate degree; 3) There were no significant differences in the factors affecting COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy when grouped according to age and sex; 4) There was a significant difference in Institutional Factors affecting COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy when grouped according to religion and educational attainment; 5) In terms of family income, only Community Factors was found not to have a significant difference.
