Abstract

This study utilized an analytical cross-sectional design. Using proportionate and systematic sampling, a total population of 292 nursing students from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute were chosen. The researchers used a self-made questionnaire. The data gathered were subjected to statistical treatment such as frequency distribution, weighted mean, Mann-Whitney U Test and Kruskall-Wallis Test. From the findings of the study, the following were concluded: 1) Majority of the respondents belong to the Level 1 of the BSN program. They are mostly female students, having a monthly family income of Php 76, 699 to Php 131, 484. In addition, they are mostly Roman Catholics; 2) The BS Nursing students of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute perceived online learning as a moderately positive impact on the lifestyle of the respondents in terms of physical, psychological, social and behavioral amidst the COVID-19 pandemic; There was no significant difference in the perceived impact of online learning on the lifestyle of the students in Bachelor of Science in Nursing at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute when they are grouped according to year level, family monthly income, and religious affiliation. However, when grouped according to sex, a significant difference has been found.
