Abstract
This study used a correlational research using online crowdsourcing and snowball sampling. There were 277 respondents were chosen in the study. This study utilized a self-made questionnaire. The statement regarding COVID-19 preventive measures were sourced from World Health Organization (2021 and CDC (2021), which were modified into a question formed by the researchers according to the setting and objectives of the study. Data was analyzed using frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean, standard deviation, F-test, t-test and Spearman's Correlation. The study concluded that, 1) The leading demographic profiles of the respondents are as follows: majority of the respondents are female, 40 to 60 years old, single, high school, monthly family income below P10,958.00. They have a very high knowledge with regards to most of the areas of COVID-19 preventive measures and slightly utilize media use for COVID-19 preventive measures; 2) The adult residents of Brgy. Mabolo 1, Bacoor Cavite manifested a very good knowledge in terms of the COVID 19 preventive measures, however, misconceptions to some information in certain areas under COVID-19 preventive measures are still evident; 3) Social media and TV stations news and advertisements were the leading sources of COVID-19 preventive measure information, followed by online articles and magazines. The medial platforms that were not or rarely used by the respondents are the radio and e-newspapers.
