Abstract
The study used a correlational design. Systematic sampling method was used. The researchers used two (2) research instruments for this study-one is a self-made questionnaire based on the literature, which measured prolonged usage of gadgets, and the other one is the Chalder Fatigue Scale (CFQ), which measured the level of bio-emotional fatigue. Both research instruments used the Likert Scale. Data was analyzed through frequency, percentage, Spearman's Rho Correlation Coefficient. The study concluded that, 1) Most of the respondents who utilized their gadgets for online classes are considered to use these gadgets for a prolonged period of time, 2) Most of the respondents taking online classes in DLSMHSI experience physical fatigue on a level of more than usual. Most of the second year nursing student respondents taking online classes in DLSMHSI experience emotional fatigue on a level of more than usual, 3) There is a weak positive correlation between the prolonged usage of gadgets and bio-emotional fatigue as experienced by the second year nursing student respondents.
