Abstract
This study utilized an analytic research design. The respondents of the study were male nursing students in De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. Total enumeration sampling was utilized and a total of 165 male nursing students participated in the study. The research instrument utilized in this study was modified and and self-made questionnaires. Data gathering was conducted using Google Forms. Data was subjected to the following statistical treatment: frequency, distribution table, ANOVA and mean standard deviation. The study concluded that, 1)The majority of the respondents were in their first year level and had a monthly family income of P100,000-P249,999, 2) The respondents believe that nursing is a good profession, 3) There is no significant difference in the perception of the respondents of pursuing nursing as a profession when grouped according to their year level and socio-economic status.
