Abstract

The researchers used a descriptive design in the study. Purposive sampling method was used to select the respondents. Out of 258, 157 were selected as the respondents of the study. The researchers used a modified-adapted questionnaire for gathering data. Data was analyzed through mean, frequency, distribution, percentage distribution, t-test and ANOVA. The study concluded that, 1) Most of the respondents are 41 to 65 years old, mostly college graduates, and female. Furthermore, most people have a monthly family income of P38,081-P66,640 and the main source of care is from private hospitals, 2) The respondents strongly agree that vaccine and vaccination specific issues, contextual influences, and individual and group influences are factors that greatly affect their vaccination decision-making, 3) There are significant differences in the factors affecting vaccination decision-making when grouped according to age. Moreover, there are no significant differences in the factors affecting vaccination decision-making when grouped according to educational attainment, sex, monthly family income, and source of care.
