Abstract
The researchers used phenomelogical approach of qualitative research. Five participants, all females, coming from San Juan de Dios Hospital and De La Salle University Medical Center participated in the study. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The researchers conducted interviews with the participants using a sound recorder. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that caring for a terminally ill relative is not an easy task. They have different roles and responsibilities as a caregiver. Many work or their own personal lives have been given up just to take care of their loved-ones. They experienced a lot of stressors, physically, financially and emotionally but they were willing to take care of their relatives wholeheartedly.
