Abstract

The study utilized a descriptive-correlational research using survey questionnaire to gather data. One hundred (100) respondents, 50 from medically inclined persons and 50 from ordinary individuals were chosen through convenience and purposive sampling. The researcher used a self-made tool based on the content of Reproductive Health Bill. Data was analyzed through percentage distribution, pearson product correlation coefficient, mean, t-test and f-test. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the respondents were 20-25 years old, female, single, have monthly family income P10,000 and below, college graduates and Catholic.; 2) The medically inclined persons agree regarding the Reproductive Health Bill. The overall mean of 4.1873 shows that medically inclined persons agree that Reproductive Health Bill that provides a more healthy living and pro-quality life; 3) The ordinary individuals agree regarding Reproductive Health Bill. The overall mean of 4.1767 shows that ordinary individuals agree that the Reproductive Health Bill that promotes healthy lifestyle and introduces consciousness and freedom of choice; 4) There is no significant difference in the perception of the medically inclined persons regarding Reproductive Health Bill when they are grouped according to age, gender, civil status and socio-economic status. However, significant difference in the perception of the respondents regarding Reproductive Health Bill observed when they are grouped according to educational attainment and religious affiliation; 5) There is no significant difference in the perception of the ordinary individuals regarding Reproductive Health Bill when they are grouped according to age, gender, civil status, socio-economic status and religious affiliation. However, significant difference exists in the perception of the respondents regarding Reproductive Health Bill when they are grouped according to educational attainment; 6) There is no significant difference in the perception regarding the Reproductive Health Bill between medically inclined persons and ordinary individuals.
