Abstract

A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on the teaching personnel of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. Stratified sampling was used in choosing sample population. A total of 74 teaching personnel answered the survey questionnaires. This study used the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-42) for the screening of the negative emotional symptoms related to depression, anxiety and stress of the teaching personnel of DLSMHSI. Data was analyzed through, frequency, mean, standard deviation, one-way ANOVA, Chi-square and Cramer's v and p-value. The researchers found that the negative emotional symptoms of the teaching personnel of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute was slightly affected due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19.
