Abstract
The researchers utilized a cross-sectional research design wherein purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques were employed. The predetermined samples are 41 individuals. the data collection was done through the process of posting on social media to inform probable participants that qualified the set criteria. The survey questionnaires were sent through Google forms on any social media platform available as the participants were reached out. Data was analyzed through mean and standard deviation. Based on the interpreted data, the researchers strongly believed that the population has a low level of knowledge concerning FDA Advisory No. 2019-388: Incorrect Use of Anti-fungal Corticosteroid Combination Therapy. The researchers also implied that certain practices like the usefulness of the product and influence by other people, added with the product's affordability and its multiple purposes, could have contributed to the participants 'preference for the continuous use of Brand X antifungal cream as an acne medication, despite the current FDA Advisory.
