Abstract
The study used the cross-sectional study design using self-administered, 33-item survey questionnaire was conducted among physicians in Cavite who are either active life or regular members of Cavite Medical Society. Total of 90 physicians were included in the study. This study suggests that physicians in Cavite generally have a good knowledge and positive attitude towards HPC. Despite this, it is worthwhile to note that physicians have some uncertainty on some of the HPC concepts and a wide range on attitude scores was apparent which may imply that there might be some barriers that may affect their outlook and utilization of HPC services.
