Abstract

This is a case of a 6 year old male who presented with hypogastric mass, inability to void, terminal dysuria, and episodes of hypertension. Initially, malignant causes were considered. Laboratory work-ups and diagnostic modalities such as abdominal Ct-scan, were used to rule in possible causes of abdominal mass and other pathologies. Surprisingly, the results of these point out to another condition. DMSA and VCUG were used to confirm the diagnosis.
