Abstract
This objective of this study is to determine the relationship of breastfeeding and the occurrence of epilepsy in pediatric age group. Pediatric patients 2-18 years old diagnosed with epilepsy as cases, and the control are children without epilepsy, matched by age and gender. The study concludes that breastfeeding is possible protective with regards with regards to epilepsy occurrence, but is not conclusive between breastfeeding exclusivity and duration with onset and occurrence of epilepsy.
