Abstract

This is a case of a 4 year old male with a history of limping 3 weeks prior to admission with no other associated symptoms. On work-up patient was noted to have large cystic-like lucencies/osteolysis with defined schlerotic margins seen in the right ilium, right femoral neck and right ischium, the possibility of metastatic process is not entirely excluded. Upon physical examination, patient was noted to have pallor, multiple lymphadenopathies, and hepatomegaly. Patient was referred to pediatric oncologist whose consideration was neuroblastoma vs. lymphoma. Further diagnostic imaging and biopsy were done to confirm diagnosis which led to the final diagnosis of extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
