Common health conditions among adolescents in De La Salle University Medical Center Service Outpatient Clinic : (a 5-year retrospective chart review)

Abstract
This is a descriptive cross-sectional retrospective study. the medical records of adolescent patients who consulted for the first time at DLSUMC service outpatient clinics from 2015-2019 were reviewed and analyzed using frequency distribution. In conclusion, the common health conditions documented among adolescents who consulted in DLSUMC service outpatient clinics were the following: Acute nasopharyngitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, teenage pregnancy, acute otitis externa, impacted cerumen and major depressive disorder. Identifying the common health issues in adolescents handled by different departments has been of great importance to be able to provide preventive programs and health services catered and modified specifically to their needs.
