Abstract
This is a case of an 11-year-old female with history of dyspnea on exertion but remained asymptomatic in the past one year ago until the time of consult. Had an incidental radiologic finding on chest radiograph for immigration application purposes. The subsequently identified mass was surgically excised thru left axillary thoracotomy. The mass was hispathologically diagnosed as bronchogenic cyst. While the prognosis for these cyst is good as a physician and pediatrician, long term follow-up remains necessary because there are several reports in the literature indicating the potential for malignancy to develop. The patient had her follow up after a month of operation with no complications nor symptoms relating to this condition.
