Macrofollicular adult granulosa cell tumor of the ovary : a case report

Abstract

This is case of a 24 G0 with a chief complaint of irregular menses. The patient underwent peritoneal fluid cytology with left salpingo-oophorectomy with excision of right paratubal cyst. Histopathology report revealed a macrofollicular adult granulosa cell tumor of the left and right ovaries. Most granulosa cell tumors are benign and have a good prognosis with long survival rate however, recurrence may still occur after treatment.
