The unusual case of abdominal mass : case report of extraosseous osteosarcoma presenting as an adrenal incidentaloma

Abstract
We report the case of 66 year old male Filipino presented with 1 week history of abdominal pain localizing at right upper quadrant pain, sharp, intermittent, radiating to the back with intensity of 7/10. The condition was initially addressed as Intra-abdominal mass, probably Renal versus Hepatic mass. The patient subsequently underwent CT scan of the abdomen revealed large, mildly lobulated mass measuring about 118.2 x 124.4 x 121.5 mm in right suprarenal region now with intra-operative finding mass 12 x 14 cm of superior pole of kidney, densely adherent to caudate lobe, lateral borders of IVC and posterior leaf right hemidiaphragm. Specimen sample was sent for histopathological studies which revealed Extraosseous Osteosarcoma.
