Abstract

This case presents a rare occurrence of polymyositis-dermatomyositis in a 25-year-old male who presenting with widespread cutaneous manifestations associated with proximal muscle weakness. This also demonstrates the importance of early diagnosis and treatment which will decrease the occurrence of further complications and prevent morbidity and mortality. We suggest muscle biopsy should be performed to make definite diagnosis.
