Abstract
The researcher utilized a quantitative observational cross-sectional research design. In this study, the total number of nurses in the respiratory department, ER, and ICU is 230, and based on the Slovin formula, 146 respondents were used as the sample size. Also, a simple random sampling method was utilized in this study. The following research instruments were utilized in the study: Participant's Data Sheet and Copenhagen Burnout Inventory. Data was analyzed through percentage, mean, t-test for independent samples and F-test/ANOVA. The study concluded that during the epidemic, nurses are more tired than ever. Faced with the increasing number of patients and the increasing work intensity, nurses' burnout has begun to affect their personal life and workability. The change of self-coping style and hospital management system is an important consideration to reduce the degree of burnout. This study provides the baseline data for further intervention guidance.
