Abstract

Due to COVID-19, a lot of products became in demand, including vitamin C supplements, having known that it could help in boosting one’s immune system. This convinced the researchers to conduct a study which aimed to determine the level of perception of selected Senior High School students within De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) with regard to the consumption of Vitamin C supplements prior and amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Through a Google Form Survey, the researchers gathered selected participants by utilizing quota sampling, and was interpreted using the dependent T-test. After data gathering, it was concluded that the respondents are highly perceptible as to how they acquired information about vitamin C supplements, and thus no significant difference is found in the level of perception of the Senior High School students of DLSMHSI as they consume Vitamin C supplements prior and amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
