Abstract
During the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing was implemented to prevent the transmission of the virus. This limited social interactions which increased the relevance of the online telehealth system. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge and satisfaction of patients regarding the telehealth system during the COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers utilized an online survey that includes a section that is divided into 4 parts dedicated to telehealth, each with a 5-point Likert scale. Results have shown that 36% of the respondents utilized the Messenger/Facebook platform for the online consultation followed by Google Meet with 34%. The respondents are knowledgeable when it comes to their level of knowledge about telehealth, due to their sufficient knowledge about the online consultations even before the pandemic. The respondents are also satisfied and aware of the factors since they value their telehealth services' evaluation. The respondents agreed with the overall effectiveness of telehealth due to its increase in usage during the pandemic. The researchers suggest that future researchers should promote the field of telehealth further due to its relevance today and how it can benefit fellow Filipinos, especially in today's setting.
