Abstract
COVID-19 has become a significant, detrimental issue worldwide, causing different health threats, multiple deaths, and abrupt lifestyle changes. Almost all nations declared lockdowns, preventing the disease's further damage and spread, which somehow resolved the issue of the virus' high communicability. In this quantitative research, the researchers investigated whether the 2-year extended lockdown has changed the lifestyle of Senior High School students within the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute or not. Moreover, the sole purpose of this paper is determining whether positive or negative lifestyle changes occurred in the chosen population. The researchers obtained the necessary information by conducting an online survey using Google Forms, wherein the selected members of the Special Health Sciences Senior High School students were chosen to become respondents. The achieved survey results indicated that the long-term lockdown had influenced the lives of these students empathically rather than adversely. Hence, the researchers concluded that most respondents saw no to minimal changes in their lifestyles amidst the lockdown series. The researchers further reported that despite some groups experiencing an unhealthy shift in their habits, most of the respondents still achieved a healthier lifestyle during the 2-year experience.
