Abstract

Amidst the COVID - 19 Pandemic and the accompanying restrictions, it is noted that the career interest, development, and chosen college course of students were affected to some extent. The purpose of this study is to investigate the possible effects of e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on the decision of selected Grade 12 STEM students’ enrolled in De La Salle University - Dasmariñas (DLSUD SHS) to pursue a Health Science College Course. A correlational study was done to determine if the e-learning experience among Grade 12 STEM students in De La Salle University Dasmariñas was related to their decision to pursue a health science course in college. Furthermore, the perceived level of satisfaction on the e-learning experience among these students was analyzed in terms of delivery of lessons, workload, and level of interest in their courses. After applying statistical treatment to the data gathered, the researchers conclude that there was a correlation between the perceived e-learning experience and the decision to pursue a health science course in college among Grade 12 STEM students in De La Salle University Dasmariñas.
