Abstract
Experimental design was employed in the study. In determining the anthelmintic action of the leaf extracts against Ascaris suum, concentrations of 50% and 100% were utilized. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was utilized to determine the significant difference between the two groups. The researchers were able to determine that the leaves extract of Colocosia esculenta (Gabi) and Momordica charantia L. (Amplaya) possesses an anthelmintic activity. However, there were significant difference between the time of death of the experimental group with 100% concentration and the control group. Therefore, the researchers concluded that the high concentration will cause a higher probability of the Ascaris suum to die in a short period of time.
