Abstract
The study used was a descriptive-experimental design. The method used was Kirby-Bauer Antibiotic Testing with two concentrations of the crude rosemary extract and a control group of Vancomycin with a dosage of 30 mcg. The crude extract was prepared by utilizing a blender and a heater. The rosemary was blended into fine grains and was put into a beaker full of hot water. The rosemary grains were put into a cheese cloth and immersed in the water turning it into an aqueous solution. The results yielded proved that Rosmarinus officinalis is not an effective antibacterial/inhibitor against S. aureus.
