Abstract
The study used a descriptive qualitative research design. Using purposive sampling technique, the respondents of the study were four (4) senior high school teachers that have experienced voice problems and were currently teaching in De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. A semi-structured format interview comprising of three (3) open ended questions. The study used thematic analysis as the main framework for analyzing data which was gathered through an interview. The study concluded that the participants described the quality of their work performance in negative terms. they admitted to resorting with the use of alternative and augmentative forms of communication to be able to preserve and lessen the need to exert the use of their voice.
