Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the emotional intelligence of radiologic technology interns of DLSMHSI21 during AY 2022-2023. A total of 121 respondents are included in the study. A descriptive research design was used, and total enumeration sampling was employed in the selection of the respondents. An adopted questionnaire was used to measure the emotional intelligence of the respondents. The statistical treatments used were mean, frequency, percentage, Mann-Whitney U test, and Kruskal-Wallis H test. It was then found in this study, where the majority of the respondents were female and most of the respondents were at the age of 22, showed that radiologic technology interns of AY 2022-2023 of the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences received an overall high rating in the emotional intelligence (EI) assessment. However, the EI of the respondents who were grouped according to their sex showed a difference, as the female respondents had higher emotional intelligence.
