Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the level of confidence in performing basic life support among 95 radiologic technology interns of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute enrolled during the second semester of A.Y. 2021-2022. This study utilized a descriptive research design. Data were gathered using a validated self-made questionnaire, and the responses were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and independent t-test. Through quota sampling with a time frame, the participants were chosen. The findings of the study show a certain majority of the respondents are female. Overall, the respondents show moderate confidence in performing BLS. The respondents are moderately confident in performing BLS. There is no significant difference in the respondents’ level of confidence in performing BLS when they are grouped according to sex.
