Abstract

To determine the degree of employability of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology graduates of De La Salle University - Aguinaldo SY 1994-1995. Specifically, (1) To determine the profile of the graduates of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology in De La Salle University - Aguinaldo SY 1994-1995 in terms of age and sex. (2) To find the number of the respondents who are employed locally and abroad in radiologic technology services. (3) To determine the number of the respondents who are employed in other fields aside from radiologic technology. (4) To determine the degree of the employability of the subjects in this study. This study was focused on the degree of employability of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology graduates in De La Salle University - Aguinaldo SY 1994-1995. It also determined who were employed in the Philippines and abroad and respondents employed in other fields. It involved 32 respondents. This is a descriptive research. Questionnaire supplemented with interview were used as instruments to gather data on the study. It was validated by authorized professors in the field. Frequency distribution and percentage score were used as statistical tools to answer the problems raised. Based on the findings gathered the following conclusions were formed: (1) There were more female graduates in radiologic technology than male. (2) There were more who were employed locally than employed abroad. (3) There were more radiologic technologists who were employed in other fields, hence the degree of employability among Radiologic Technologists were considered satisfactory.
