A questionnaire-checklist served as the data-gathering instrument. Frequency and percentage distribution were the statistical tools applied. The study concluded that, 1) The 137 respondents of the study are regular students from the 1st year to 3rd year of Bachelor of Sciences in Medical Radiation Technology; 2) The data obtained regarding the perception of the students regarding the Radiologic Technology course indicates that majority of the respondents has adequate understanding of the course. Though the respondents have an awareness regarding the course, the reasons why they chose to enroll in it vary. The two most common reasons for enrollment in the course, is one, it is an excellent Pre-Med course, and two, and it offers a bright opportunity for future employment. Only a few students enrolled in the course due to lack of options or through whimsical decisions; 4) The lack of options in when deciding which course to take, uncertainty about the future of Radiologic Technology profession in our country, having a hard time being enrolled in this course, and lack of real interest in completing this course. For new students, the most common problems encountered in this course are as follows: not knowing the course enough, not having enough technical knowledge, and lastly not having discipline to focus in their studies.
