Abstract
This study attempted to find out the status of radiologic services in Polymedic General Hospital, Inc. from January to October 1994. Specifically, it sought to determine the distribution of manpower in the x-ray department of the Polymedic General hospital, Inc., the educational preparation of each x-ray personnel, the existing equipment in x-ray department, the radiological services rendered to the patients from the month of January to October 1994. This study used the descriptive documentary survey method. This method which deals primarily with data gathering processes supplemented with interview. The data gathered were treated and analyzed using the percentage, frequency and ranking. With the aforementioned findings it can be concluded that in the radiology department there were more x-ray technologists that another type of personnel. There were more ART degree holders among the x-ray personnel and the highest educational attainment the x-ray personnel and the highest educational attainment was the doctorate degree; the doctorate degree holder was the radiologist. Protective devices had the highest number among the x-ray equipment used in x-ray department and, From the month of January to October 1994, chest x-ray was the most used among the radiologic services rendered while the pelvimetry was the least. April had the most number of patients
