Abstract
To determine the relationship of the physical environment of the College of Radiologic Technology to the learning motivation of the radiologic technology students, SY 1995-1996. Specifically. (1) To find out what physical environment motivates the students to learn. (2) To find out the level of motivation of the students. (3) To determine the significant differences of the learning motivation of radiologic technology students. (4) To determine the relationship between the physical environment and the learning motivation of the students. The subject population were all students admitted to the radiologic technology SY 1995-1996. This study included a total of 599 radiologic technology students which is 100% of the total population. The instrument was subjected to a content validation by the heads of the College of Radiologic Technology. Their suggestions were incorporated in revising the draft of the questionnaire. In the analysis of data gathered, the mean and the F-test of One Way Anova were the statistical treatments used in this study. In the light of the findings, these conclusions were drawn: (1) The radiologic technology students of De La Salle University-Aguinaldo SY 1995-1996 are motivated to learn with classrooms that are well-ventilated, well-lighted and safe. They are less motivated with with In the light of the findings, these conclusions were drawn: (1) The radiologic technology students of De La Salle University-Aguinaldo SY 1995-1996 are motivated to learn with classrooms that are well-ventilated, well-lighted and safe. They are less motivated with classrooms with leaking ceilings during heavy rains. (2) That the students are heterogonous on the level of learning motivation. (3) That there is a relationship between the physical environment and the learning motivation of the students. (4) That there is a relationship between the physical environment and the learning motivation of the students.
