Abstract
Investigate and compare the perception of selected senior students on Radiologic Technology as a course, SY 1995-1996. Specifically, this study aim to: (1) Find out the perception of Dasmariñas national High School senior students on Radiologic Technology as a course. (2) Find out the perception of Immaculate Conception Academy senior students on Radiologic Technology as a course. (3) Compare the perception of the two sets of respondents on Radiologic Technology as a course. This study used one private school, the Immaculate Conception Academy and one public school, the Dasmariñas National High School, in surveying the perceptions of selected high school students on Radiologic technology as a course. Both schools are located in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The 30% of the total population was used in the study on 120 for ICA and 393 for DNHS.The study made use of descriptive-normative survey with the use of questionnaire as the main data gathering instrument. Thirty percent of the total senior population in Dasmariñas National High School and Immaculate Conception Academy were used as respondents totaling to 513 respondents. Percentage, weighted frequency and chi-square were used to statistically treat the data. Based on the findings gathered the following conclusions were formed: (1) The Immaculate Conception Academy students are not aware that radiologic technology course is offered in De La Salle University-Aguinaldo. (2) The students in public school perceive things differently from that of private school.
