Abstract
Descriptive method was used in this study. The respondents were 64 radiologic technology interns of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute who were officially enrolled during school year 2009-2010 selected using purposive sampling. A self-made questionnaire served as the instrument. Mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution, percentage, ANOVA and t-test were employed for data analysis. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) The male and female respondents were equal in number; 2) Most of the interns were assigned at the Philippine Orthopedic Center during the 2nd semester of the school year 2009-2010; 3) The most common problem encountered by the radiologic technology interns in performing radiographic procedures with geriatric patients was they require a lot of assistance from relative while patient cannot be left alone for pediatric patients; 4) Gender and hospital affiliation were not associated with the problems encountered by radiologic technology interns in performing radiographic procedures for both geriatric and pediatric patients.
